Job Summary
Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including catheterizations and image-guided interventions. Utilize CT, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology to guide procedures while adhering to sterile environment protocols and aseptic techniques. Interpret imaging studies and provide diagnostic reports. Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate interventional approaches and ensure accurate documentation with CPT coding. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in interventional radiology techniques.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active New York State Medical License (Required)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Significant experience in interventional radiography, including catheterization procedures within sterile environments
- Proficiency with CT, nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, and interventional techniques
- Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes
