Job Summary
Interventional Radiologist to join a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY as an Independent Contractor. Part-time/per diem role offering a premium hourly rate. Responsibilities include performing a full range of interventional radiology procedures (catheterizations and image-guided interventions), interpreting imaging studies, maintaining sterile technique, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with referring physicians. Requires MD/DO, NY license, Board Certification or eligibility, and proficiency with CT, nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, CPT coding, and aseptic technique.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active New York State Medical License (Required)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Significant experience in interventional radiography, including catheterization procedures within sterile environments
- Proficiency with CT, nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, and interventional techniques
- Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, excellent communication with referring physicians and staff, commitment to aseptic technique and patient safety
