Job Summary
Join a hospital-based Interventional Radiology program in Arlington, VA, providing inpatient and outpatient procedures with a broad range of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. The role supports oncology, vascular surgery, hepatology, nephrology, trauma, emergency medicine, and surgical specialties, offering image-guided biopsies, tumor ablation, Y-90 radioembolization, peripheral angiography and stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, AV fistula/graft interventions, embolization, TIPS, nephrostomy and gastrostomy/gastrojejunostomy tube placements, bone and joint injections, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, and neuro-interventional procedures to support stroke care. Requires Fellowship in Interventional Radiology and Board Certified/Eligible status, with eligibility for Virginia licensure. Will work with a multidisciplinary team to grow and advance the IR program, and time is dedicated 100% to interventional radiology. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
- Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Interest in multidisciplinary care and program development preferred
- Neuro interventional radiology skills preferred (at least one member of the IR team must be trained in neuro intervention to support stroke patient care)
