Job Summary
Perform peripheral and neurological diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a radiologist or physician using independent judgment and aseptic technique. Prepare and administer contrast materials, set up rooms per approved protocols, and ensure radiation safety measures are utilized. Implement emergency procedures as needed and operate diagnostic imaging equipment while accurately recording data and performing quality control tasks. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and stay updated on organizational changes via shift email checks. Participate independently in call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- One (1) year experience in interventional radiology, cath lab, or diagnostic radiology
- ARRT registered
- BLS certification
- Able to operation diagnostic imaging equipment/computers
- Computer literate
- Able to treat patients of all ages
- Basic computer skills
- Data entry skills
- Mathematical skills
- SCRQSA certification (Required for team members working in South Carolina)
Desired Qualifications
- Registered in primary modality preferred
- Epic Radiant preferred
