Job Summary
Perform peripheral and neurological diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a radiologist or physician, applying independent judgment and aseptic technique for invasive procedures. Properly prepare and administer contrast materials, set up rooms using approved cleaning protocols, and ensure radiation safety measures are utilized. Implement emergency procedures as needed, perform quality control tasks on equipment, and enter and record data accurately in department and hospital computer systems. Participate independently in call rotation while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- One (1) year experience in interventional radiology, cath lab, or diagnostic radiology
- ARRT registered
- BLS certification
- SCRQSA certification
- Able to operation diagnostic imaging equipment/computers
- Computer literate
- Able to treat patients of all ages
- Basic computer skills
- Data entry skills
- Mathematical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Registered in primary modality preferred
- Epic Radiant preferred
