Job Summary
Perform cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures in the cath lab or interventional radiology units. Maintain current Nevada Radiation Control License, ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) registration, and BLS certification. Complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within the first six months. Requires one year of cardiac cath lab experience for RCIS certified individuals or two years for ARRT candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program
- Must successfully complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within first six (6) months
- 1-year experience in cardiac Cath lab for RCIS certified individuals or 2 years of experience in Cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) candidates
- Current Nevada Radiation Control License
- ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) Registration or RCIS
- Current BLS Certification
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient
