Job Summary
Operate digital equipment and perform complex Neuro and Interventional invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment of patients while working with chemotherapy agents, cements, and embolization agents. Requires comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This position is 100% clinical with a rotating on-call requirement until 8pm. New hires are eligible for a $10,000 bonus. Located at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Connecticut, this role supports Hartford HealthCare's regional health care resource for Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
- State of Connecticut Radiographer license
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 100% clinical
- mandatory call as needed
