Job Summary
Specialized radiologic technologist supporting interventional procedures under direct supervision. Sets up sterile equipment trays, positions patients for interventional radiologic procedures, operates fluoroscopic equipment, and captures images. Assists radiologists during minimally invasive exams such as angioplasties, biopsies, image-guided thermal ablations, and stent placements. Maintains and documents imaging studies in CHL and PACS, identifies charges, ensures workflow continuity, and assists with patient transport as needed. Maintains safety protocols and minimizes radiation exposure per established guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
- ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist Dx and/or RCIS
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare
