Job Summary
Senior Interventional Radiographer Locum in Colchester delivering safe, patient-centred diagnostic imaging across a busy hospital service. Responsibilities include operating RIS/PACS/EPR with accurate records, contributing to image quality and QA, mentoring juniors/students, coordinating daily workflow, and collaborating with the MDT to meet service demand and turnaround times. Requires HCPC Radiographer registration and degree in Diagnostic Radiography, with senior-level hospital imaging experience and strong leadership/mentorship capabilities. Desirable exposure to Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, and CT.
Required Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Diagnostic Radiography
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer
- Strong recent experience operating at senior level in a hospital imaging team
- Comfortable supervising colleagues and maintaining high professional standards
- Confident user of hospital IT systems (RIS/PACS/EPR)
