Job Summary
Full-time Interventional Pulmonologist at Mayo Clinic Rochester focusing on a high-volume interventional pulmonary medicine practice. The role centers on diagnostic and therapeutic interventional pulmonology with a state-of-the-art bronchoscopy suite featuring robotic bronchoscopy, cone beam CT, rigid bronchoscopy with jet ventilation, and a full range of advanced instrumentation. The program supports one Interventional Pulmonology fellow annually. Candidates must have completed an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship and be AABIP board certified or board eligible. Responsibilities include participation in on-call rotation with emergency bronchoscopy, outpatient clinic, and inpatient pleural consultations, with remainder of effort devoted to other Pulmonary/Critical Care/Allergy/Sleep Medicine activities, funded research, or professional development. The successful candidate will be appointed at an academic rank commensurate with experience and will contribute to scholarship, mentorship, and the division’s academic mission; teaching is essential in collaboration with fellowship programs.
