Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for esketamine and TMS appointments, welcome patients, and provide clear education on treatment-day expectations. Support patients during sessions by following clinical protocols, monitoring status, and communicating concerns to providers. Document all activities, observations, and follow-up needs accurately in the electronic health record. Coordinate appointments, reminders, and logistics while ordering medications, managing inventory, and maintaining REMS and DEA documentation. Serve as a consistent point of contact for non-clinical questions and escalate clinical issues appropriately. Work a Monday-Friday schedule in the Vancouver outpatient program, collaborating with prescribing providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports patient privacy and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professionalism, integrity, and discretion with confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Two or more years of healthcare, behavioral health, mental health, or patient-care experience
- Current BLS, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work a schedule Monday-Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant, CNA, Medication Technician, or comparable healthcare training or certification
- Experience with psychiatric or behavioral health, outpatient infusion, ketamine/esketamine, specialty medications, EHR systems, or REMS programs
- Associate degree or higher in healthcare administration, psychology, behavioral health, nursing, or related field
