Interventional Pain Management RN Spine Center -PRN

Interventional Pain Management RN Spine Center -PRN at a university health system. Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Administers medications and conscious sedation per policy. Supports clinic operations including accudose management, crash cart checks, glucose monitoring, and supplies par levels. Drives department quality improvement activities and coordinates care delivery, including organizing patient information (labs, radiology, history/physicals, physician orders) to maintain efficient clinic flow. Maintains professionalism and ongoing knowledge of nursing trends, engages in shared decision making at unit/project levels, performs post-procedure care (site dressing, vital signs, neuro checks) and notifies physicians of untoward effects. Conducts patient assessments, plans discharge, and facilitates continuity of care. Assists physicians with procedures (patient positioning, site prep, medications and supplies). Must perform clinical competencies for the assigned unit; responsibilities may vary by department. Requires ability to coordinate care across the clinic and support a high-quality patient experience.
