Job Summary
Manage the inpatient neuroendovascular service while providing 24/7 neuroendovascular call coverage and responding to emergency department stroke alerts at all hours. Evaluate and treat new patients admitted through call coverage or stroke activations, and provide consultation and procedural support as needed for both inpatient and emergent cases. Work approximately one week per month on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with variable case load for adult patients. Board certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification
- Ability to independently perform 24/7 neuroendovascular call duties
- Ability to respond to 24/7 ED stroke alerts
- Ability to assess and manage acute stroke patients
- Ability to provide comprehensive neuroendovascular care for both inpatient and emergent cases
- 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift
- 24 hour call coverage
- On-Site location
