Job Summary
Territory Manager for Interventional Cardiology Therapies covering the Newcastle region, responsible for driving sales revenue and market share for RDN products (Coronary and Renal Denervation) across hospital accounts and key clinical staff. Role includes strategic territory planning, technical and clinical case support in hybrid theatres and cardiac cath labs, inventory and expense management, quarterly business reviews, relationship-building with hospital stakeholders and influencers, and collaboration with product managers to optimize inventory and ensure timely stock and expiring-product remediation. Requires high school diploma with related healthcare sales experience, clinical/technical knowledge of cardiac labs, and strong account-management and consultative selling capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 3 years sales experience in the devices, pharma or healthcare industry
- Cardiac Catheter Lab experience will be highly regarded
- Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge including clinical papers
- Knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting
- Ability to adopt consultative selling strategies
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong ability to build and nurture clinical and business relationships with customers
- Understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/theatres/departments e.g. purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling and key influencers
- Computer literacy including MS Office
