Job Summary

Conduct percutaneous coronary intervention, cardiac catheterization, angiography, and debulking procedures including CSI atherectomy and rotablator. Manage intra-arterial and central venous lines, perform temporary transvenous pacemaker placement, and insert intra-aortic balloon pumps. Interpret echocardiography, stress tests, EKGs, and Holter monitors while maintaining fluoroscopy privileges. Practice in accordance with professional standards within a new state-of-the-art Cath-lab. Join an established non-interventional cardiologist and two nurse practitioners to build a program in a community with great need. Fellowship trained and BC/BE in Interventional Cardiology required.

Required Qualifications

  • Fellowship trained and BC/ BE in Interventional Cardiology
  • At least Level 2 training in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography & preferably vascular ultrasonography
  • Level 3 training in cardiac catherization and intervention
  • Candidate must be BC/BE
  • be California licensed or eligible
  • meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards
  • receive all required vaccinations, including, but not limited to, measles, mumps, flu, COVID-19 vaccine

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience
  • Level 3 training in peripheral interventional training
  • Additional training in cardiac MRI/CT
