Job Summary
Conduct inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiovascular care, including cardiac imaging, echocardiograms, catheterization, and radial access procedures. Manage heart treatments such as angioplasty, valve repair, and pacemaker clinics, while performing vascular treatments like bypass surgery for PAD and endovascular therapy. Operate within a 1:4 call rotation and one cath lab day per week, supported by dedicated APPs, fellows, residents, and medical students. Utilize EPIC EMR for tests and diagnosis, including stress tests and ambulatory cardiac monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed DO/MD in NC or eligible
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology
- BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
- Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Southeastern
