Job Summary
Interventional Cardiologist position with Geisinger Heart and Vascular Institute at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA. Responsibilities include STEMI care, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), atherectomy,Shockwave therapy, and involvement in a robust structural heart program including TAVR, with capability to insert mechanical circulatory support devices including ECMO percutaneously in the cath lab. The role supports a multi-campus system with ongoing research, education, and CME activities; requires MD/DO, PA license, and board certification or eligibility in interventional cardiology. Location involves work at GCMC and affiliated Geisinger campuses in PA; benefits available for full-time and part-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
- Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
