Interventional Cardiology Physician

Interventional Cardiology Physician sought for Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA. Board-certified or board-eligible interventional cardiologist with focus on coronary interventions including PCI and CHIP; experience in STEMI care, percutaneous coronary interventions, atherectomy, and shockwave therapy. Strong involvement in the institute's robust structural heart program including TAVR and the capability to insert mechanical circulatory support devices including ECMO percutaneously in the cath lab. Ideal candidates will have training and experience in advanced interventional techniques and participate in multidisciplinary care across centers. Education: MD or DO required; PA medical license required. Skills include professional etiquette, patient care and procedural skills, and systems-based practice.
