Interventional Cardiology (Non-Structural)

Interventional cardiologist to practice at Abingdon, VA within Ballad CVA Heart Institute. Role involves invasive/interventional cardiology in the Johnston Memorial Hospital Cath Lab with a team including one invasive cardiologist and two interventional cardiologists, supported by ANP staff. Performs 65 cath procedures per month (≈40 diagnostic, ≈25 interventional) and handles Permanent Pacemaker/ICD insertions. Uses a Philips Cath Lab with devices such as Laser, Volcano, EKOS, CardioMEMs, Penumbra, IABP, and Impella. Provides 24/7 STEMI coverage in Southwest Virginia and operates an On-Site CHF clinic.
