Job Summary

Interventional Cardiologist opportunity in Phoenix with the Phoenix VA Health Care System. Position includes M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule, competitive pay with annual performance bonus, substantial leave and holidays, federal retirement and 401k options, and generous CME/education debt reduction benefits. The role supports involvement in VA-led research (including the Million Veterans Program) and collaboration with the University of Arizona and Dignity Health. Education Debt Reduction Program eligibility up to $200,000; board certification required to receive CME days off; malpractice tail coverage provided; independence with limited moonlighting restrictions. Requires MD/DO degree, active unrestricted license, and U.S. Citizenship; successful candidates will undergo a background/security investigation.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine
  • 1 full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State or territory
  • U.S. Citizenship required
