Job Summary

Interventional Cardiologist opportunity at the Phoenix VA Health Care System in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires MD/DO, an unrestricted U.S. medical license, board-certified status, and U.S. citizenship. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with compensation including salary, performance bonus, and benefits. The position supports involvement with VA-led research collaborations (e.g., Million Veterans Program) and provides access to Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) for student loan reimbursement. Candidates should be board-certified, eligible for full and active licensure in a U.S. state, and willing to participate in a program that may include research and clinical duties within the VA environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
  • 1 full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State or territory
  • Board-certified to receive the CME days off (must be board-certified)
  • U.S. Citizenship required: non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy
