Job Summary

Conduct interventional cardiology services as a rotation site for Cardiology fellowship and Internal Medicine residency at the Phoenix VA Health Care System. Participate in VA-led research with the University of Arizona and Dignity Health using state-of-the-art facilities and the Million Veterans Program. Maintain a full and unrestricted U.S. medical license and report to a schedule of M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eligible candidates receive up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement, a federal pension, and possible $1,000 CME reimbursement. Required Qualifications

  • Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
  • 1 full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State or territory
  • Must maintain a current, full, active, and unrestricted license
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Board-certified (required for CME reimbursement)
  • Must be board-certified to receive the 5 days off for CME
