Job Summary
Provide 24-hour call coverage for interventional cardiology in an inpatient Kentucky hospital. Perform procedures including balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), heart catheterization, and coronary angiograms. Read and interpret studies such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and nuclear stress tests to ensure comprehensive adult cardiac care. Respond to cardiology calls and conduct general cardiology consults, collaborating with nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative support to deliver high-quality cardiac services.
