Interventional Cardiologist Needed for Locum Coverage at Facility in Kentucky

Interventional cardiologist needed for locum tenens coverage at a Level IV trauma center in Lebanon, KY. Responsibilities include inpatient care and clinic consultations with an average census of 70-90 patients, managing cath lab volume of 3-5 cases per day and inpatient load of ~5 per day. Provides STEMI 24-hour call coverage for emergency cardiac interventions. Required experience includes ischemic heart disease interventions such as PCI and stent placement, thrombectomy, valve disease procedures including valvuloplasty and percutaneous repair/replacement, congenital heart abnormalities, balloon angioplasty, and use of cutting/laser devices for plaque removal. EMR: EPIC. Support staff includes APCs, intensivists, and anesthesia on-site 24/7. Location: On-Site, Lebanon, Kentucky, USA.
