Job Summary
Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist with advanced training in complex coronary and peripheral interventions. Responsibilities include performing complex high-risk interventions (CHIP), chronic total occlusions, mechanical circulatory support, peripheral vascular interventions, coronary CT angiography, and nuclear cardiology. Also supports electrophysiology procedures including leadless pacemakers, device implantation, and arrhythmia ablations. The practice operates three office locations across Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach with interventional catheterization labs; offers a compensation package with incentives, relocation/signing bonus potential, CME allowance, and full benefits. No structural heart interventions are included.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist
- Advanced training in complex coronary and peripheral interventions
- Experience with complex high-risk interventions and CHIP
- Experience with chronic total occlusions and mechanical circulatory support
- Ability to perform electrophysiology procedures including leadless pacemakers, device implantation, and arrhythmia ablations
- State medical license or eligibility in Virginia (implicit in practice)
