Job Summary
Perform appropriate physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and provide patient education and counseling to promote wellness. Deliver agreed-upon coverage for patients in ambulatory offices and hospitals during business hours, evenings, and weekends as mutually agreed upon per medical staff bylaws. Maintain updated Delaware medical and DEA licenses, complete required continuing medical education, and ensure quality care through appropriate pharmacological dispensing. This role requires a Doctor of Medicine with completed residency and Board Certification, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including on-site child care and educational reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine
- Completed Residency
- BC/BE per Bayhealth Medical Staff Bylaws
- Physician - CSR (if required by defined job duties)
- Physician MDDEA (if required by defined job duties)
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) licensure
- Must meet credentialing requirements as established by Bayhealth Medical Staff Services department
- Maintain an updated Delaware medical license
- Maintain an updated Delaware CSR license
- Maintain a DEA license
- Complete required continuing medical education (CME)
