Job Summary
Conduct personalised triage assessments to support service users in accessing treatment. Deliver brief and psychosocial interventions, individually or in groups, for those using alcohol and non-opiate substances. Document interventions accurately and promptly to ensure a seamless treatment process. Promote involvement from carers, service users, and the community to create a collaborative support network. Support social reintegration and recovery, facilitating access to mutual aid and interventions for overall wellbeing. This role operates within Change Grow Live's Manchester service, dedicated to helping individuals reshape their lives and embrace life to the fullest.
Required Qualifications
- solid understanding of substance misuse issues
- experience in substance misuse or a related field
- Commitment to collaborative working and building partnerships
- Strong time management and initiative-taking abilities
- Ability to communicate clearly
- right to work in the UK at the time of application
