Job Summary
Collaborate with school administrators, classroom teachers, and parents to deliver effective instruction to diverse student populations virtually and/or in person. Plan and deliver lessons while maintaining accurate records, managing the classroom to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Attend staff meetings and complete required administrative tasks in a timely fashion. Serve Non-Public Schools in Delaware County Monday through Friday during school hours. This part-time role offers 10-15 hours per week at a rate of $30-35/hour. Join a growing interdisciplinary team focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State of Pennsylvania Primary or Secondary teaching certificate
- Classroom teaching experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Reliable internet and a working personal computer with updated software and web-camera
- Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Suites, Zoom/Meets, and other Ed Tech platforms
- Self-starter mindset
- Ability to complete basic tasks with minimal supervision
- Presently eligible to work in the United States
