Job Summary
Intervention Specialist at Warder Park Wayne Elementary School within the Springfield City School District. Responsibilities include differentiating instruction, accurately analyzing data to plan instruction aligned to the Common Core State Standards, instructing whole and small groups, experience with writing standards-based IEPs, using research-based pedagogy, developing lesson plans and instructional materials for individualized and small-group instruction, engaging at-risk students with varied learning styles, and collaborating with a diverse team to achieve district goals. Requires or pursues an Intervention Specialist license or supplemental license per Ohio Department of Education; ability to lead professional development on restorative practices; flexible schedule; participate on teams; strong enthusiasm and ability to relate to diverse student backgrounds; utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning; contracted role with 183 days/year, 7.25 hours/day; starting salary per SEA negotiated agreement with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses or have applied for an Intervention Specialist license or have the ability to obtain a supplemental license as an Intervention Specialist issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
