Job Summary
Intervention Specialist Tier III at Crisis Center of Tampa Bay provides crisis counseling via telephone, chat, text, and in-person, offering information, resources referrals, and follow-up care coordination for mental health and childhood concerns. Role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, advocacy for primary and secondary victims of crime (sexual assault, physical abuse, domestic violence), and delivery of high-quality customer service. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a human service-related field OR one year counseling or crisis intervention experience in lieu of degree
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Exhibits excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Knowledge of Windows based computer systems required
