Intervention Specialist Tier II- Bilingual

Job Summary
Provide crisis counseling and information/referrals via telephone, IM chat, text, and in-person to community members facing trauma or life challenges; perform safety checks, follow-up care coordination for short-term mental health or early childhood concerns; offer advocacy and referrals for primary and secondary victims of crime (including sexual assault, physical abuse, domestic violence); communicate in English and Spanish, deliver high-quality customer service, and participate in PQI processes; complete required trainings (CCTB Core Training, Trauma Informed Care, Psychological First Aid) and meet performance metrics; duties include documentation, off-hours availability, and collaboration with supervisory staff in a 24/7 crisis-center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a human service-related field OR one year counseling or crisis intervention experience in lieu of degree
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Exhibits excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Windows based computer systems required
- Demonstrated leadership ability
