Job Summary
Provide high-quality instruction and intervention for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Collaborate with general education teachers to support students through inclusive practices and co-teaching. Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs, Evaluation Team Reports, Functional Behavior Assessments, and other required special education documentation. Coordinate and facilitate IEP, Evaluation Team, and intervention meetings in accordance with state and federal regulations. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service logs, assessment data, and progress reports. Advocate for the academic, behavioral, and social needs of students with disabilities. Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, professional development, and required trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (Special Education) teaching license
- Successful completion of required state and federal background checks
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio special education regulations
- Experience with student data analysis and progress monitoring
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and educational technology
