Job Summary
Intervention Specialist needed for school year with responsibilities including developing and implementing IEPs, providing differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classrooms, adapting lesson plans and curricula, monitoring student progress with data-driven decisions, collaborating with teachers and therapists, participating in IEP meetings and evaluations, maintaining records in compliance with ODE/IDEA, implementing behavioral intervention plans and classroom management to promote engagement. Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education and an ODE Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive), plus fingerprint clearance. Location: Springfield, OH. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
