Job Summary
Intervention Specialist needed for the school year in Streetsboro, OH. Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs, providing differentiated instruction in various settings, adapting lessons for diverse learners, monitoring progress with data-driven decisions, collaborating with general ed teachers and therapists, participating in IEP meetings and parent conferences, maintaining records per ODE/IDEA, and implementing BIPs and classroom management strategies. Requires a Special Education degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and an ODE Intervention Specialist license, with fingerprint clearance. Competitive contract-style pay at $41-$49/hour, with benefits and flexible post-contract opportunities; 40-hour workweek with time-and-a-half pay for over-hours as approved.”,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
