Job Summary
Intervention Specialist for the school year in Lewis Center, OH. Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs to support students with disabilities; providing differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings; adapting lesson plans, curriculum, and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs; assessing and monitoring student progress using data-driven decision-making; collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success; participating in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences; maintaining accurate records in compliance with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and IDEA regulations; implementing behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies to promote student engagement. Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education and an ODE Intervention Specialist License. Fingerprint clearance and background check are required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
