Job Summary
Intervention Specialist responsible for developing and implementing IEPs for students with disabilities, providing differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive settings, adapting curricula, monitoring progress with data-driven decisions, collaborating with teachers and therapists, participating in IEP meetings and conferences, maintaining compliant records, and implementing BIPs and classroom management strategies to promote engagement. Requires a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Special Education and an ODE Intervention Specialist License, with fingerprint clearance; position offered as a contract with benefits and opportunities for extended work and professional development. Hourly pay range is $41.00-$49.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
