Job Summary
Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to plan, evaluate, and implement Individualized Education Programs for students with disabilities. Coordinate multifactored evaluations, reevaluations, and data-driven instruction adaptations to ensure services are delivered in the least restrictive environment. Design parent involvement activities and create inclusion schedules while modifying general education curricula to address unique student needs. Work cooperatively with staff to apply Ohio Extended Standards and federal legislation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certificate/License to teach children with disabilities
- Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards
- Knowledge of Operating Standards for Ohio's Educational Agencies Serving Children with Disabilities
- Knowledge of Ohio Model Policies and Procedures
- Knowledge of federal and state legislation
- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Previous experience working in public educational setting
