Job Summary
Intervention Specialist at Peace Hospital provides direct behavior therapy and active treatment programming for individuals and groups, develops and trains intervention plans to multiple disciplines, monitors implementation, conducts crisis intervention, collects and enters data on observable behavior, and participates in hospital committees and special projects. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred), BLS certification, and at least five years of human services experience (if no Bachelor’s degree).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED/equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (required)
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in human services is required for applicants without Bachelor’s Degree (required)
