Job Summary
Intervention Specialist responsible for providing academic, functional, behavioral, and instructional support to students with disabilities by designing and implementing individualized programming, coordinating with IEPs/504 plans, and collaborating with staff and parents. Requires Ohio Special Education teaching certificate/license, a Bachelor's degree in education, effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with others in a school setting; duties include ensuring student safety, assisting in staff development related to curriculum modification/adaptation, and supporting classroom teachers with evidence-based strategies and compliance with IEPs and related regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
- Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certificate/License
