Intervention Specialist

Job Summary
Plans, implements and assesses individualized student intervention services. Teaches assigned students/subject matters as scheduled. Develops educational experiences, uses formal and informal assessments to tailor instruction, and ensures interventions align with IEP objectives. Collaborates with staff to identify/resolve problems that impede student learning, prepares instructional materials, and maintains records. Proctors state/district testing and contributes to an inclusive educational environment with accommodations and differentiated instruction. Maintains high professional standards, adheres to district policies, and supports student safety and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state department of education license/certificate as determined at the time of appointment
- Adheres to Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators
- Maintains applicable credentials. Complies with all state licensure requirements.
