Job Summary
Provide high-quality instruction and intervention for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) while collaborating with general education teachers on inclusive practices. Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs, Evaluation Team Reports, Functional Behavior Assessments, and other required special education documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate service logs and assessment data, and advocate for the academic, behavioral, and social needs of students with disabilities. Work school hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., attending staff meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development. Join a team dedicated to educating the whole child through rigorous academics, daily structured fitness, and intentional character education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (Special Education) teaching license
- Successful completion of required state and federal background checks
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio special education regulations
- Experience with student data analysis and progress monitoring
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and educational technology
- Attendance at staff meetings, IEP meetings, professional development, conferences, and required trainings
