Job Summary
Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within the school setting, ensuring compliance with state and federal special education laws. Collaborate with classroom teachers to meet student needs, teach IEP goals, monitor progress, and follow IEP provisions. Maintain effective communication with parents, administrators, and colleagues; participate in professional development and district initiatives; and perform related duties as assigned by the principal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in teaching field
- Certified by the Ohio Department of Education
- Knowledge of state and local curriculum standards
- Knowledge of state professional development standards
- HQT preferred
