Job Summary
Deliver special education services as an Intervention Specialist, developing and implementing IEPs, providing differentiated instruction across one-on-one, small-group, and inclusive classroom settings, and adapting lesson plans and curricula to meet diverse learning needs. Monitor student progress with data-driven decision-making, collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff, participate in IEP meetings and conferences, maintain accurate records in line with ODE/IDEA regulations, and implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom-management strategies to promote student engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
