Job Summary
Provide high-quality instruction and intervention for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) while collaborating with general education teachers on inclusive practices. Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs, Functional Behavior Assessments, and other required special education documentation, coordinating meetings in accordance with state and federal regulations. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate service logs, and advocate for the academic, behavioral, and social needs of students with disabilities. Work within a supportive leadership environment focused on coaching and collaboration, adhering to school hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (Special Education) teaching license
- Successful completion of required state and federal background checks
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio special education regulations
- Experience with student data analysis and progress monitoring
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and educational technology
