Job Summary
Conduct daily instruction and intervention for students with multiple disabilities in a self-contained classroom at Miami East High School. Deliver specialized support aligned with individualized education plans while maintaining a full-time schedule from 7:15 am to 2:45 pm. This role requires an SBOE Intervention Specialist license or Alternative Resident Educator License and involves completing mandatory background checks and reference verifications. The Miami County Educational Service Center provides these programs to public schools in Miami County, dedicated to supporting every student's unique needs.
Required Qualifications
- Will work with students experiencing multiple disabilities
- Must have (or will be obtaining) an SBOE license as: Intervention Specialist with either mild to moderate or moderate to intensive teaching fields OR Alternative Resident Educator License - Teaching Field/Content Area = Intervention Specialist (PreK-12)
- Must complete and have satisfactory results on reference checks, pre-employment verificatons, and BCI and FBI Background Checks
