Job Summary
Elwyn is seeking a passionate Intervention Specialist to provide therapeutic services to children and families. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a clinical mental health discipline and demonstrate experience in providing psychotherapy. Required Qualifications
- Licensed mental health clinician, psychologists, licensed professional counselors (LPC), licensed social worker (LSW), or licensed clinical social workers (LCSW)
- Master’s Degree from an accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline
- At least one (1) year verified post-Masters experience providing psychotherapy/counseling to children
- Current, valid driver’s license in state of residence
- Three (3) years driving experience with acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (written and oral) in the predominant secondary language in the region
- Experience utilizing crisis intervention techniques
- Knowledge of evidence-based services
- Knowledge of CASSP principles and principles of cultural competency
Additional Requirements
- Only candidates with a Master's degree and at least one year of experience providing psychotherapy/counseling to children will be considered if not licensed clinicians.
