Job Summary
Intervention Specialist role in Columbus, OH focused on delivering high-quality IEP/504/BIP-based supports for students with active special education services. Responsibilities include collaborating with school teams (parents, teachers, principals, school psychologist, regional director) to meet individual student needs; providing co-teaching support in general education; implementing testing accommodations for state mandates; maintaining intervention service and progress logs; developing and delivering high-quality lesson plans and services; advocating for students and ensuring compliance with state and federal policies; coordinating with related professionals in IEP/ETR processes; collecting and reviewing data to inform instructional decisions; and maintaining confidential student records. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Ohio Special Education license, plus criminal history checks and knowledge of applicable policies. Strong data-analysis, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
Required Qualifications

- Satisfactory completion of federal and state required criminal history checks
- Stays current on and understands all federal and state special education policies and laws
- Experience with data analysis
