Job Summary
As an Intervention Specialist, you will lead the instructional process for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), creating inclusive and personalized learning experiences. Responsibilities include delivering differentiated instruction, tracking student progress, managing educational plans, and creating lesson plans aligned with state standards. The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learners' needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education, special education or a closely related field
- Licensed in Ohio state teaching credentials for Intervention Specialist
- Ability to obtain certification in crisis management training
- Proven success in developing and implementing effective educational plans
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction in special education
- Knowledge in special education services and compliance
- Experience working with students with IEPs
