Interpreter (Wolof, French & English) 2nd Shift)

Job Summary
Provide written and verbal translation and interpretation between English and Wolof, French, and Spanish for hiring processes, performance management, team meetings, and emergency situations. Conduct interviews, provide tours, administer pre-employment tests, and translate communications for Operations and Distribution Center areas. Demonstrate company values, participate in departmental meetings and training, assist with employee training, and complete special projects. Maintain reliable attendance and handle multiple projects within established time constraints while performing simple troubleshooting and selecting solutions from proven alternatives.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field
- 1 year of experience Spanish interpretation and translation
- Human Resources policies and procedures
- Training practices and principles
- Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools
- Document Management System
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
- Deal professionally with employee inquiries
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and internet
- Learn and retain manufacturing processes to explain them to employees
- Proficient in verbal interpretation skills
- Display empathy, understanding and patience with employees and customers
- Ability to perform under strong demands in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
