Job Summary
Provide simultaneous and/or consecutive translation from French into Dutch, ensuring the target text accurately reflects the source meaning with high grammatical accuracy and key terminology. Maintain professional audio quality for remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI) while spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references. Deliver work in a fast-paced environment with multiple project priority changes, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Experience with interpretation systems (Bidule) and technical courses is required. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, Interpreting, or equivalent experience
- Native speaker in one of the languages involved
- Excellent command of the French language in both comprehension and writing
- Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language
- Adaptive to fast-paced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with simultaneous & consecutive interpreting service
- Experience with Interpretation systems (bidule)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in translating technical courses would be a plus
